fido 3 Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Apologies if this has been brought up, is planned or whatever else may be involved. But I'm trying to find out if Collections capability is ever going to show up in the Roku app. I've set up a few already via the browser. I know it can be done on Android because I found it there. But my wife would like to be able to create some of her own and manipulate them (add/remove movies) via Roku. I'd be willing to do it for her except she and I have different ideas of what should go in certain ones based on her express desires. So it would be better for her to be able to do it herself. And I won't end up getting the blame as an added bonus. Thanks!

I have never tried to make or change a collection on any of my Rokus (or other clients) but it does seem that it should be possible and could be a moderately valuable feature. Of course there are things that need to be fixed first but the ability to create and maintain collections from a client should get some attention.
fido 3 Posted May 24, 2021 Author Posted May 24, 2021 I understand there are more urgent things to consider. I was hoping it had already been addressed and I just couldn't find it. Either way it would be nice if it could be done that way because many users (non-admins) never use browsers because they do things while viewing. Not everybody uses the app, too. (She didn't even know she had it installed on her phone until I showed her.) I know she'd rather make changes while viewing, not going back and forth between the computer and the Roku. We did that with IPTV for her to set up favorite channels and she hated doing it, though it was the easiest way for her to figure out at the time.
Luke 42077 Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Hi there, yes we'll be adding this feature to the Roku app. Thanks for the feedback.
fido 3 Posted May 24, 2021 Author Posted May 24, 2021 That will be fantastic! Now I can tell my wife to sit down and sh wait awhile and it will show up. 3
