Its not direct playing its transcoding, says direct play error, is that not an error luke ?

Not necessarily. It means there's something about your file that the video player couldn't handle, and so it automatically switched to transcoding in order to allow it to play successfully.

Can you post the server and ffmpeg log.  But for some reason a item that should Direct Play failed.

Ok no worries, ill grab the logs though if you want to look through for trouble shooting.
