markdj 49 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Whenever I update the metadata of a movie the score doesn't get updated anymore. For example, I have Mitchells vs. The Machines sitting at a 9.2 since I added it a while ago and I just updated it and it's still the same (it's sitting at 7.8 at IMDB at this moment). This applies to all movies and shows as well, by the way.
Luke 42088 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 HI there, check the score of your first enabled movie metadata fetcher. See what they have on their website and that's what Emby will get.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Sorry no information comes directly from IMDB, it comes from OMDB in this case and your example shows that they have not updated their information. {"Title":"The Mitchells vs. the Machines","Year":"2021","Rated":"PG","Released":"30 Apr 2021","Runtime":"113 min","Genre":"Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family, Sci-Fi","Director":"Michael Rianda, Jeff Rowe(co-director)","Writer":"Michael Rianda, Jeff Rowe","Actors":"Charlyne Yi, Olivia Colman, Eric André, Sasheer Zamata","Plot":"A quirky, dysfunctional family's road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of the robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity's unlikeliest last hope.","Language":"English","Country":"USA, Canada, France","Awards":"N/A","Poster":"https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMjdkZjNjNDItYzc4MC00NTkxLTk1MWEtY2UyZjY5MjUwNDNkXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTA1OTcyNDQ4._V1_SX300.jpg","Ratings":[{"Source":"Internet Movie Database","Value":"9.2/10"},{"Source":"Rotten Tomatoes","Value":"97%"},{"Source":"Metacritic","Value":"79/100"}],"Metascore":"79","imdbRating":"9.2","imdbVotes":"12","imdbID":"tt7979580","Type":"movie","DVD":"30 Apr 2021","BoxOffice":"N/A","Production":"Columbia Pictures, Lord Miller, Sony Pictures Animation","Website":"N/A","Response":"True"} 1
Happy2Play 9785 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Yes, but I don't think I have see how often they update their database anywhere though.
