No i havent but my remote access is not working, I thought it might be the update, so I restarted for the update, but its still not working, my remote address hasn’t changed at all.

Please go through the whole troubleshooter.  I know you want to just say "fix it for me', but it doesn't work like that. This is specific to your network environment.

Im not that type of person but it is alarming that all of a sudden this just happened and now its looking like i might have to learn to port forward because right now only my LAN is working

OK I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter:

https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001849007-connectivity

Please try the steps listed there and let us know which ones succeed and which ones do not. Thanks.

I checked my ny router and the wan address for the Ipv4 ping (icmp echo) and the test succeeded 4/4 transmitted, 4/4 received, 0% loss ... I honestly dont think its on my end

What does canyouseeme.org show?
Is the IP that it shows on that site the same as the IP shown on your Dashboard?
Have you tried turning off any local firewall applications running on the same host as Emby Server

Have a look at this KB article and make sure you've done everything listed.  Also make sure to read the bottom section carefully which gives you other things to check when remote access isn't working such as malware, local firewalls, VPN software, as well as how to check to see if you may be behind a cgnat (ISP blocking).
