Music Playlists do not show the artists name

So looking at that screenshot, your track is not tagged with artists or album artists so that explains it. If you haven't been through a full library scan since updating the server, then please let that finish first. 

If you have then I would check the information embedded into the audio files.

Here is a screen shot of the same track when looking from album views, it shows the artist, but if i add the same track to a playlist the artist field is not carried over. I also notice the path is different, but they tare the same location, one is the mapped drive on my computer and the other is the real network location. all albums libraries are added using mapped drives with the network location added to the optional shared folder location field

ok i have completely deleted my music library, rebooted and then re added it, and now the artists names appear in the play lists.

Not sure what the issues was, but it seams to be fixed now for me
