xdwarfx 15 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 After upgrading to the latest version i saw i had 2 Collection libraries. One of them showed the path to the 'Collection' folder and the other one did not have this information. I deleted one, which i found out was the one which had the path set to it. When i try to edit the other one i am unable to insert a path to my data folder where Collection data is stored.. Is there any way to delete it and rebuild?
Carlo 4560 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Try deleting the last (wrong one) and then do a full library scan. That should rebuild the collections for you.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 If a proper Collection library is shown on Dashboard-Library it is unremovable as there is no Remove/delete option. You could shut down Emby and got to "C:\Users\username\Desktop\Stable\programdata\root\default" path will be platform prevalent and delete the Collections folder. This will cause Emby to show a Mix Content Collection folder that then can be remove and Emby will auto generate the correct one. 2

xdwarfx 15 Posted May 22, 2021 Author Posted May 22, 2021 Just to be clear; The proper Collection library which is shown in the Dashboard library does NOT have a folder location beneath the name, like other libraries do? f.e. Movies C:\Movies

Movies C:\Movies Correct, as it isn't really a Library it is just a virtual grouping of Collections. 1
xdwarfx 15 Posted May 22, 2021 Author Posted May 22, 2021 What i ended up doing is a fresh install of Emby. Libraries are rebuilding as we speak and i now see Emby creates auto collections which is awesome! 2
