How long should it take for the server to scan after the update? I started 12 hours ago and it's still scanning on a 100 GB database. Is that expected?

Every system is different, all you can do is check the server log to see what it is doing.

Could be related to the MusicBrainz server issue... my library scans have been taking a very long time since the upgrade and I can see from the server logs it looks like it's waiting for timeouts/exceptions to happen before moving the progress bar along.  It gets there eventually.

Mine is taking an incredibly long time also.  It's been stuck at 98% for hours now.  I have tried to restart it & same thing, stuck at 98%.  I add content to my library all the time , and a scan usually takes just a few seconds.  What's up?

It really depends on your setup and libraries.  Can you post your server log.

Not thread jacking, just tossing in that I too am stuck at 98% and see a ton of musicbrainz issues.

Yes mine gets very slow from around 96-97%, but like I said above it completes ok in the end. Last one took just over 5 hours, usually takes a couple of minutes.

Seeing lots of these in the server log during the slow period:

Mine finally finished after about 36 hours. Just need to let it do it's thing and not restart the server.
