Sorry we don't control them, but others have reported fanart.tv images working again.  And a quick test, I am able to get images from them without errors.

Please excuse me, you may not know, but that is not my problem. Since the last update there are collections. These are automatically generated and identified by Emby. Unfortunately, that happens without the pictures in the collection. If I manually identify the collection again, Emby also takes over the images. With several hundred collections, this is unfortunately very tedious. Unfortunately, no tip has helped so far (metadata or library scan). Maybe you have an idea?

Fanart is working for me.  OK if your issue is that collections didn't get the correct graphic I think you would have to manually refresh them at this point.

Try clicking the circle top left on a collection then selecting 5 or so other collections.  The use the 3 dot menu top right to REFRESH metadata to see if this updates the pictures.  You may need to exit to the home screen then go back into collections to see if they updated.

If that worked you can repeat that a couple of times with 50 or so collections at a time.

Let us know if that works.

Hi, if you can attach the emby server log from when they were imported we might be able to see why they didn't get images.

As I said before, refreshing the metadata doesn't help. Just re-identify each collection individually. unfortunately there is no batch job button for this.

good afternoon,

It was a pending issue since 4.6 but until now I had other more urgent problems with emby.

The point is that shortly before or shortly after (I can't remember) updating to 4.6 I also lost part of the movies.
The point is that now as I am adding them, some create coections and others do not.

For example, Transformers (which before if I had it as a collection), now I do not believe it.
I have tried to copy the folder from data to metadata, but it has not worked for me either.

And yet Harry Potter the same thing happened, or Terminator, if I created the collection

Hi, After you get all your media reloaded perform a meta-data refresh on the Movie library.
This will refresh the meta-data and pull in any missing collection info which will rebuild your collections.

Hi, has this answered your questions?

Hi,

At the top my current metadata/collection folder with the Transformers folder copied from data.

I have scanned multiple times and this collection still does not appear.

And like that collection, it happens to me with several.

Or for example, the libraries are not updated.

Hi, this isn't possible in Emby Server 4.6. Why not just create the collections using the web interface?

Usually a image cache issue as I see this occasionally also.  Have you refreshed the Collection?

I understood that collections are created automatically, right?
I have all the transformers movies, but it doesn't create the collection for me automatically. Before with the plugin if it worked.

Indeed, if I update the metadata, it works fine.
Is that because I have to update the collections one by one so that the icons are updated?

It will rebuilt all images but you could delete the server image cache.  You can see your cache location on Dashboard Paths and just delete the contents of the images folder.

Reconstruirá todas las imágenes, pero puede eliminar la memoria caché de imágenes del servidor. Puede ver la ubicación de su caché en Dashboard Paths y simplemente eliminar el contenido de la carpeta de imágenes.

Thank you
although the main problem is that the collections are not created automatically.

Since the new method creates off item metadata, all items need Refreshed to create the required new metadata.

I think I've already done it, but I'm still wrong.
Exactly what and how do I have to do it?

Right click on the movie library and select Refresh Metadata.
You don't need to replace graphics.

ok, I haven't done that (I have many hand-edited movies).
What I've always done is scan libraries.

Let's go there....
