whats the link address to bookmark upcoming tv episodes or how to set default landing to upcoming tv episodes. Also upcoming tv episodes are sorted out of order on the server 4.6.0.50

@cayarsIt is the Upcoming episodes screen linked to from the top of the main TV screen.

 

Episodes are sorted by title on that screen. Series name, season number, and episode number are all ignored when sorting. So not only are the episodes listed out of order for a given series, episodes for other series airing the same night are inserted in between episodes based on title.

It appears to me this are sorted by the air/broadcast date/time which would seem appropriate for this tab.

Yes it would.  In this data sample, that happens to also exactly match title then.

@Luke@cayarsAre you sure they are sorted by air/broadcast date/time? The epsiodes on May 28 are appear to be sorted by episode title (see image above in my previous post).

It looks like it is sorting by date and then by title, so yes that should be changed to by date and then by season/episode numbers.

That's what it does, but the data coming from tvdb is just a date.

Well for me I get matches that do in fact match the air time.

So I see an episode 11 then a 4 on a show which seems backwards but then if I search the show and look at the order of broadcast it is in fact 11 then 4.

I look at 3 series and all were this way.

Coincidence?

There are a lot of shows airing for me on May 28, and they are very definitely sorted by episode tile on the Upcoming Episode screen. This is the full list for that day in the order they appear:

• Mosquito Coast - S01E06 - Levanton
• Lucifer - S05E13 - Little Harmless Stalking, A
• Lucifer - S05E14 - Nothing Lasts Forever
• Mythic Quest - S02E05 - Please Sign Here
• Lucifer - S05E11 - Resting Devil Face
• Mighty Ducks - S01E10 - State of Play
• Kominsky Method, The - S03E01 - TBA
• Kominsky Method, The - S03E02 - TBA

Episodes on all days on the upcoming screen are sorted this way. I never noticed it before as usually there are only a handful of shows airing on any given day. And most of the streaming show episode titles are TBA until the day they are actually released. 

I think my main take away from this thus far is that I watch too much TV ;-).

Those are definitely not sorted by title if they are the same day as "Van Helsing" would be listed last.

Can you try this for me?

Do a search for "Lucifer" and choose the programs tab on results.  Now click on Lucifer and you should get a list of upcoming shows.

Paste a screen shot of that please.

They are sorted by episode title and that is the series name.

I'm pretty sure we've gotten to the bottom of this and we just need to change the sort on that list.

Also Upcoming is not available to be a default landing tab.

To me that suggest the library content type has changed.  Please go to Dashboard-Library and verify the library content type.
