Playback stops 4 mintues from the end of the video

I tested with the release 4.6.0.50 and it has the same results as my test yesterday with the latest beta which I expected but needed to test.

It can play the file all the way to the end but with a pause and a second or so interruption in the playback.

The root cause is still there I think and Emby "fails" to start ffmpeg on the last segment but the better retry mechanism in 4.6 looks like it can recover better.

Well it appears to be a fault in the media.  The difference is that 4.6 now handles it better.

Not sure I agree, yes there is something weird about the media with 45 sec of black frames on the end but I think that is what is triggering the error in Emby.

If I had access to the source I would investigate this myself by those days are well and truly over

I had also tried another test I didn't post about since it wasn't on topic but I cut the file to "finish length" and got rid of the black frames and resaved the file.  So this was also being rewritten or sort of remuxed as well as I saved a new file.  That played back perfectly for me with no glitches at all.

That's what leads me to say it's the media. Of course it was one file only tested like this so read from that what you will.
