FireTV Playbackproblem

Hallo,

ich habe auf meine FireTV, seit heute das Problem, dass das Bild einfach schwarz bleibt bzw alle 30sec mal ein Standbild kommt. DEr Ton läuft ganz normal weiter. Gestern Abend konnte ich noch ohne Probleme schauen. Die Emby App auf dem FireTV hat die Version 2.0.X und auf meinem Server läuft 4.5.4.0.

Folgendes habe ich schon ausprobiert:

- FireTV im WLAN und Ethernet

- Emby App gelöscht, Cache geleert und neuinstalliert.

- ein zweiter FireTV im Haushalt läuft ohne Probleme

- diverse Serien und Filme getestet (~ MKV@H264 mit 8-12Mbit - AC3 5.1)

- Transkoding erzwungen um das Directplay zu umgehen

- Netflix und Prime laufen im Playback normal

- Tablet, Handy, PC machen ebenfalls keine Probleme

- Emby Server (Win10 Pro 2004) und Rechner neugestartet.

Würde das Problem auf den FireTV schieben - habe nur noch keine Idee was seien kann. Vielleicht hat jemand noch eine Idee oder Ansatz.

Firetv with Problem:

FireTV 2.Gen with App 2.0.0.9a

Firetv without Problem:

FireTV 1.Gen with App 2.0.0.9.a

Yesterday everything works fine with the FireTV.

With an 1Mbit Stream i get every second a new frame, when i use direct stream every ~30sec a new frame. I tested the connection with ethernet 1Gig and wlan 2,4/5Ghz.

Today i reset the firetv to factory settings, but still the same problem.

Is it possible to download the Emby FireTV 1.8.55 Version?

I found a workaround, but not happy with this solution - with an thirdparty player (MX Player) i can play films without any problems.

On the one that isn't working properly, what are the audio settings in the Amazon device menus? Have you tried changing those?

I tested all Audio Settings, but nothing work.

When I use Firefox or the Silk Browser on my FireTV to connect to the Emby Server - I haven't any payback problems.

Which menu? I tested different playback settings in emby, without a solution. 

Only the way with the thridparty player works.

Mal den FireTV selber prüfen, ob ein Update vorliegt. FireTV-Einstellungen "Mein FireTV" --> "Info" --> "Nach Updates suchen"

@Teddyknuddel Das kann ich noch einmal machen, aber dadurch das ich den FireTV komplett zurückgesetzt habe und er beim starten automatisch Updates gezogen hat, wird da wahrscheinlich nichts neues zufinden sein. 

Schon sehr merkwürdig. War tatsächlich von einen auf den anderen Tag, klingt für mich nach einem Software Update Problem. Ich richte nachher mal noch meinen FireTV Stick ein, den ich in der Schublade habe, vielleicht funktioniert dieser.

Würde ich nicht unbedingt sagen - eigentlich heißt es, dass die Updates vom FireTV-Stick automatisch gezogen werden. War bei mir nie der Fall - könnte aber auch daran liegen, dass Du den Stick hauptsächlich im LAN nutzt (so wie ich auch), und dann der Stick sagt, automatisches Update NUR, wenn WLAN aktiv ist.

Unter Umständen wurde Dein Stick auch im Router willkürlich geblockt. Hatte ich selber auch schon, zwar nicht den Stick jetzt, aber andere Geräte.

Gerade noch einmal die Fritzbox gecheckt, aber konnte nichts finden - checke nachher mal, wenn ich auf dem Handy nen Hotspot mache, wie sich da verhält - um einmal das Heimnetzwerk auszuschließen. Hatte auch meiN PiHole im Verdacht, aber auch da wird nichts geblockt.

As Cayars re-iterated - there are audio settings in the Fire TV settings.  What are those set to?

@ebris I tested all the audio settings. At the moment "Dolby digital automatic" like my working FireTV.

Okay - at the moment I am working, I will ost a Screenshot this evening. 

For my understanding - Audio is working fine, only Video have a problem. What's the connection between the audio settings and not working video playback?

Okay, sorry, maybe we are running down the wrong path here...

Can you please play one of these items for a few seconds and then send a log from the app.  You can send it right from the player during playback under the "cog" menu.

With a HotSpot via Handy i have the same problem. And i tested a new FireTV Stick with the Emby App without problems

Hi,

gleiche Thema. Nach dem Update nur noch ein schwarzes Bild. Ton läuft. 
 

- zurücksetzen hat nicht geholfen

- Updates alle installiert 
 

Alle anderen Video-Streaming Apps funktionieren. Nur emby nicht mehr…

Ein stick der ersten Generation. Hab gestern ein Update der Emby App gemacht. Seit dem ist das Problem.
