Emby Theater won't play a TV series

Hi, I'm having problems with Emby Theater not playing a certain TV series I've just added. The backdrop comes up but it just hangs with the whirring circle. It will play from the web client on my Windows 10 though. All of my other shows play fine and there's nothing wrong with the structure.

Hi, what were you trying to play?
Was there an ffmpeg log file generated for this playback? If so attach that log file as well.

Did you have subtitles turned on for this playback?

I think I might have as it didn't play, I can't be sure. I've tried it since with and without subtitles but no joy.

This will likely not make a difference but it's an easy test so let's try it.

Turn off Transcoding->Allow subtitle extraction on the fly

Now try playing back making sure to NOT use any subs.

Tried this out as you said and no it won't play. It seems to be an issue with these specific files as all my others work fine.

Doubted it but to easy not to try.

Have you tried remuxing just these files as they seem to be the culprit?

Just remuxed them from MP4 to MKV and they seem to be playing fine now :-)
