Movie images suddenly all black & white ?

As title says, for some reason all my new movie images are black & white

older ones remain color, it’s just new ones. 
if I use image editor and select a new image, it still shows as b&w even if the image I select is color

only happens on movies, not tv series. 
have not made any changes I’m aware of or added any plugins.

What server platform? Does removing CoverArt plugin resolve the issue?

But will guess these are related.

My Movie primary images all turned grey? - General/Windows - Emby Community
