Text formatting across apps?

Is there any sort of formatting that works across all of the emby apps?

For example if i need something to stand out in a description, i can i use HTML formatting in the web app and it looks great but it doesn't carry across to android, instead you just see all the HTML tags show up in the description. So just wondered if there was any sort of standard way this can be done to add spacing and text formatting to a description.
