Hello, I'm using Emby Theatre on Windows and there's a few things I would like to do:

Change all instances of Season to Series.

Remove Cast & Crew section.

Remove tags.

Remove "More Like This".

Is any of this possible and how do I do it?

Regards.

Hi, currently you can not change screens in ways like this in general but via CSS, some of this may be possible for HTML use.
You could check here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/144-web-app-css/

Just curious but why would you want to change season to series?  The show itself IS THE series and the season is the year (roughly speaking) that it was filmed in.

.. They are probably from the UK - Series is commonly used over here to describe what you describe as a 'Season'

ie Series 1 of Only Fools and Horses is equally correct (to us) than saying Season 1 of Only Fools and Horses .. ;)

Ahh Cool. A case where "English" isn't always the same in different countries.

Makes sense!

That's right, yes. Series sounds right to me being from the UK.

Yeah where I work our product localizes the UI to the languageCode-countryCode (i.e. en-US versus en-GB) because there are different spellings (color vs colour) and well as what this thread is about.

We do that too.  You can select "English-UK" in your language selections.

At one point, I think the translation for that language had season set to series but, I think that got too confusing and it was changed back.

While I agree that "series" has more use in the UK than "season", I'm certainly happy with season (I prefer it, logically), and I'm sure I'm not alone.
