Separate queue per media type or "stash/pop queue" feature

Use case : I'm listening to music all day long, and I like to watch a small episode of a TV show while eating at noon. Playing that episode kills the music queue (album, playlist or whatever). I cannot "Play next" a TV show in a music queue, which would have worked.

Handling queues per media type would be a solution (movies/tv queue + music queue), or maybe a stash/pop queue functionnality ?

Exporting the queue to a playlist is not an option as that's not the intent at all and I think it would pollute the playlists list.

Anybody have this need or am I alone?
