I have a problem with PDF files

When adding PDF books to emby
Not working, go to the books section in emby, but I find the file is empty. Only the file name is present even though the book format is PDF

Well, what is the format in which to create a library of books in emby other than in PDF format and in non-audio books?

Emby does not have a eBook reader.  You can only catalog said eBooks.

There are open feature requests for eBook reader within Emby though.

I suggest using Komga for PDFs and comics (cbr, cbz)

I was just proding the topic to see if there was any movement in getting a PDF/CBZ reading added yet. 

Moving those items to a dedicated project is probably the best answer.

Emby Server 4.9.1.8+ will now have a book reader in the web app for the following formats:

• EPUB
• MOBI
• FB2
• CBZ
• PDF
