mastrmind11 722 Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 So its connected directly to my server, and with emby server on docker it only allows me to map 2 folders, i can map any 2 on the drive that all works fine, my problem is im not sure how to map a 3rd one, i tried following the command from the docker website (" -v /storage/path:/data/additional") and it works fine if all my files were on the server directly, however theyre not, and its not possible since my folder is far too big to be stored completely on the server itself. I think i need to map the external drive to /storage somehow, as its currently mapped to /var/media but im not sure how to do that. Thanks for the help. Google "how to mount a USB drive in linux" and follow the instructions, then in your docker run command, point your volumes to that mountpoint. That should do it.

Presumably you used ones that have access to the shared media. If not, you either need to add the UID/GID to have r/w access to your media, or you should find a user that has r/w access to your media and rerun the docker command using the corresponding UID and GID.

What's your CPU/memory profile on your server while this is happening?

I set "--restart always" in the run command and it looks like the container is up when the OS comes up and I do a container ls (along with some other containers). But after about 10 seconds it goes away and I have to manually issue another run command for it to come back. Anyone seen this before?

TZ env. variable is not respected in the docker image: I set "TZ = Europe/Warsaw" but In Emby dashboard I still see GMT-2 time zone 2. A likely place to start would be your firewall.

All other URLs resolve correctly to IPv4 addresses. The interface has both IPv4 and 6 IPs. any hints?

apefray 4 Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 (edited) Hi, I've been using Emby Docker on Unraid for nearly two years, and for the last 18 - 20 months all has worked superbly (a minor issue on the Live TV M3U, but other than that it has worked flawlessly). However for the past 2 months I have been getting random crashes in Emby Docker (twice today, unhandled exception logs attached). Anyone have any idea why this is happening as its spoiling what is a great product. Is this happening to anyone else, is it really unique to me (usually is). What can I do to fix it? Im running Emby Docker Version 3.5.3.0 on Unraid Version: 6.6.3 and I believe this started when I updated Emby Docker to the latest version. I don't believe it happened on the previous version, but equally, I could be wrong. I remember reading about disabling a plug-in (audiodb) from this link: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/62313-bug-systemnetsocketssocketexception-since-352/ Which I've done, but as you can see from the logs, It's still happening.
