BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 (edited) Having issues with latest unraid docker. Any ideas? (See last posts). https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/43743-new-emby-docker/?page=16 Thanks (Sorry for them lame post, I'm away from home without access to the machine) Edited July 28, 2018 by BobbyDing
Luke 42077 Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Hi @@BobbyDing, can you please describe what your issue is? thanks.
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 The container starts, then stops on its own a minute or two later. I'm not very linux savy, but the end of the log file shows a kill command being executed. I assume that's whats shutting down the container. Looks like I'm not alone with the issue. Thanks Luke
Luke 42077 Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Can you please attach the emby server log? thanks.
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 (edited) There are also some "socket" errors in the unraid logs. I know thats a network issue, but I don't know if it's related. Edited July 28, 2018 by BobbyDing
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Two things. I'm away from home and won't be home for 12 hours, and I don't know how to get into the container to get the logs ( since I can't get to the servers web page). I use putty to access the shares. How would I get into the container with putty? If it's not too much to ask. Thanks!
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 OK. Sorry. just remembered logs should be in appdata folder. attached is todays I hope. Bit rough doing this remotely from a tablet. Let me know if you need something different.
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 oops. selected file but forgot to attach. embyserver-63668338578.7z
Luke 42077 Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Ok I think this is related to the audiodb music fetcher. I'm going to push an update later today to try and resolve it. Thanks.
BobbyDing 56 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Hi. Is there a way to force the unraid version of emby-server to install the previous version instead of the latest? If so, is there a list of previous version numbers for the Dockers? Thanks!!
ben-nl 1 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Version numbers of emby server https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases You can change this in embyserver template. Example Repository: emby/embyserver:3.5.0.0 1

bungee91 133 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 (edited) Version numbers of emby server https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases You can change this in embyserver template. Example Repository: emby/embyserver:3.5.0.0 I tried this solution for now, thanks for the recommendation! No dice, same issue with 3.5.0.0, with no other changes to the host/UnRaid, everything else stable. Edit: I see the other posts in the Linux forum with the same issue, for now I've deleted my Music collection from Emby (I never use it anyhow), and if that resolves this for now, then great. When I am home I can provide more logs if needed. Is there any reason why on https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/releases there are no notes for 3.5.1 and 3.5.2? The docker tag "latest" is also linking to 3.5.0. Is anything above still beta or unstable? Edited July 30, 2018 by Martum
alucryd 315 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 The latest tag is pointing to 3.5.2.0, and https is working fine with it. What are you running it on?
Martum 2 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 The latest tag is pointing to 3.5.2.0, and https is working fine with it. What are you running it on? Thanks for confirming that. I changed my docker-compose file to emby/embyserver:latest and it was 3.5.0 again. But when I pulled the image manually via docker pull it got 3.5.2 One Problem solved thanks to you. Curious why it did not update the image itself though. The other problem was solved also while checking the compose.yml I've had a wrongly set SSL_CERT-FILE under environment. Is there any documentation what this does and how to set it up? I pointed it to the SSL certificate of my server, I guess that was wrong but had no consequences on 3.4.1 For Information: Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS Docker 18.06.0-ce Docker-Compose 1.22.0 The container is running behind Traefik reverse proxy with letsencrypt certificate
alucryd 315 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Glad you got it working. I believe we weren't relying on that variable in 3.4.x, but now we do and it's part of the Dockerfile. As for docker compose, I've never touched the thing, I don't know why it doesn't pull the correct latest tag.

BobbyDing 56 Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Hi Luke. Sorry. Quite right. No files were playing from the latest unraid server. Home or remote. I deleted and then re installed the libraries and it's all good now. Thanks for the quick response!!
