Can emby fast play (fast forward) or slow play, during or after recording of live tv?

When I used to have Dish Network DVR, I could fast play or slow play, regardless if the recording was in progress or completed.  I can't remember if it was standard def, or high def.

If I record live TV in 1080 or 4k, and recording is completed, can emby do fast play (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x), or slow play (.5x, .2x, .1x), or reverse play (-2x, -4x etc.)? 

If "yes", how do you do it?

If "no", is there a technical reason Dish Network could do it and emby can not?

Does it make any difference if recording is in progress?

I noticed, w emby, if recording is in progress, I cannot even do a skip.  Should I be able to skip?  How?

I'm running Beta 4.6 Server and I can do this for recorded items.

In web for example you start playback then click on the cog icon and use the SPEED menu item. It may not be available in all circumstances but the few I just tried all work for me.

That is very good news, cayars.  I'm on version 4.5.4.0 so it may be soon for it to be in non-beta.
