techman2005 2 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 When I try to identify content by going to "identify" and then input the IMDB Id I get no results just blank this used to work fine. I haven't changed anything not sure why this stopped working
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 IMDBid only works if TMDB has that ID or you have enabled OMDB as a provider also. Can you go over a specific example and what providers and order you have enabled on the library.
Guest Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Do you need them both enabled then for the cross reference? The reason I am asking is because on my last import of movies ( after working some for a proper identification, and embedding tt numbers..) some of them showed up worse without changes to other metadata. Where before.. my Asian embeds got better identification and using the TT numbers really helped be more specific. I had the OMDB unchecked. I had played with which one was better of the three for movie data...
techman2005 2 Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 (edited) The MovieDB is selected under the library I also verified the content is under TMDB Edited April 27, 2021 by techman2005

Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 May need to see the server log going over a specific example also.
techman2005 2 Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 So Emby is not finding Anything Identification seems to not be working, I found out when new content was put on the server and it wasn't identified. I then tried to manually identify and that produced nothing

Quote https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/74313-blue-planet-ii?language=en-US TMDB has two query types TV and Movie and are restricted for each.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 You would need to enable OMDB in order to get this with tt6769208. {"Title":"Blue Planet II","Year":"2017","Rated":"TV-G","Released":"20 Jan 2018","Runtime":"364 min","Genre":"Documentary","Director":"N/A","Writer":"N/A","Actors":"David Attenborough, Peter Drost","Plot":"David Attenborough returns to the world's oceans in this sequel to the acclaimed documentary filming rare and unusual creatures of the deep, as well as documenting the problems our oceans face.","Language":"English","Country":"UK","Awards":"Won 1 Primetime Emmy. techman2005 2 Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 Ok so I should expect issues with other mini series?
techman2005 2 Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 OK that makes sense thanks for your help!
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 (edited) 3 minutes ago, techman2005 said: Ok so I should expect issues with other mini series? Yes as all mini series are TV according to TMDB. As mentioned above you should get what you want if enabling OMDB. But truly depends on if this is one item or multiple episode/files. Edited April 27, 2021 by Happy2Play
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Another example showing the type from TMDB, requiring TV content type query to get info from them.
