Secure local emby install

I need to know if my local emby install can be secured with https even when browsing locally.

Technically yes, but it is dependent on the networking hardware you are running - as it will be responsible for any network 'loopback'.

Google 'NAT loopback / hairpinning' to get some idea on what's involved.

If you have a domain pointing at your remote WAN IP now just test it and see if you can use the domain or IP now from inside your network.
