3D playback - any hardware recommendation

Currently i've emby running on nvidia shield pro, which is great but not capable of 3D playback.

Do you have any recommendation for a hardware solution, which can do 3D playback and

• is out-of-the-box 3D ready
• is a slim non-windows system
• can run the emby client by officially supported installation like e.g. nvidia shield or fire tv

I'd like to have a system as slim as possible, hardware and software with an operating system made for media player purposes, perfect would be android tv.

Do you know something?

I've meant to ask but how are you going to do 3D playback without a 3D TV?  If you have a 3D TV then you can use just about any Emby client.  The Android ATV client for example works fine.

I've a 3D TV, which is old, with proprietary os, there are some "apps" built-in, other apps can't be installed.
