Boosting center channel when downmixing to stereo (Theater Desktop)

Hello,

I was wondering if there is an option to boost the center channel on Emby Theater (Desktop) before/after it is downmixed to stereo?

I'm guessing I'll have to edit the mpv confg. I can't even find the Theater installation folder. Where is it?


Also I would like to know what the server setting under the transcoding  secrtion "Audio boost when downmixing" does. Is it boosting only the center channel, everything  or something else?

Hi, not that I'm aware of.
That option under transcoding will boost the complete downmix but only when transcoding is taking place.

You could do this with an mpv.conf file.

Good to know. I can't seem to find the mpv.conf file under "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater". Where is it located usually?

Try creating it in AppData\Roaming\mpv location.

Only place I see mpv.conf is C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\mpv.
