Derek Webb 5 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 I'm not sure which section this should go under, but hopefully someone has an idea as to what I'm doing wrong. My Emby server used to work remotely and on the home network. As I don't often used it remotely I have no idea when this happened, but as of now my Emby Connect log-in seems to have stopped working. The Server is running, it works fine on the local network. If I type in the WAN IP it works fine outside the home. If I try to use Emby connect to find my server, it let's me log-in. Lists my server name, but when I click on it, I get messages like no content available, or cannot connect to the server at this time, make sure it is running. The whole point of paying for a premier account was so I could use Emby connect and not have to check my WAN IP to find my server. It used to work. Does anybody have an idea what's changed?
Carlo 4561 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Hi, try something rather simple for me. Remove your Emby Connect username from the local user and click the SAVE button. Now add the Emby Connect username back to the local user and click the save button. Does it work now?
Derek Webb 5 Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 Thank you cayars. Worked perfectly. I guess that's the equivalent of rebooting. 1
Carlo 4561 Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Probably more like "resetting" the Emby Connect username on your system, but close enough. Glad you got it working!

Thanks. No, it didn't. I just want to know where I can "Remove your Emby Connect username from the local user and click the SAVE button." Where do I do that specific option?

If you followed link above, it's same for existing user: Quote From the Server Admin Console click on USERS side menu. Next select the user account if already created OR click the PLUS SIGN + to create a new user. If creating a new user the screen will look like this. Choose the name you wish to give the user in the top box and fill out the user EMBY CONNECT USERNAME or their email address in the second box. Adjust any options as usual for a user. Scroll down the page and click the SAVE button when finished. Edited November 30, 2022 by GrimReaper
Dan33702 0 Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I only see the option to edit, not remove.
