Sorry, I missed this question.

 

The RAL should automatically group any series that has 2 or more new episodes.  If it isn't for you, you may have edited your config at some point to up this number.  I think the tag is something like RecentItemCollapseThreshold.

 

In case any one searches for this, the tag is RecentItemCollapseThresh.

Load up MBC in a windows, login with my user. entering in password. either clicking on the cog with the mouse or using the keyboard to move the cursor up to the cog.   Then I either click left mouse button our hit enter.  Either way results in the same two errors showing up seemingly one, one time and the other the other time over and over again.  

 

I have BackDrop SS, Chocolate theme,  MB BookShelf , Upcoming Tv Plug-ins and breeze theme.  

 

I have now removed all options and configuration items and I still get the same results.  

 

* edit I've also confirmed that if I go back to 196 everything works properly.

Well as a last ditch effort I un-installed MBC and reinstall and then upgrade and everything is working as it should.  So I must have had something somewhere that a reinstall fixed.

I always run configurator to update as it was quicker than starting MBC, answering yes to update and then go through the update process.

Quick question, why don't Add to Queue work with MBC.  I now understand that Playlists and Queue are different.  Any reason MBC does not support Queues?

With a build not to long ago, monochrome mediainfo icons were working. Now only colorized icons do. Subdued has options for 4 different sets, but seems to have no control of changing them. Am I missing something??

I'm getting coloured ones as I haven't copied the monochrome icons to the Xenon folder as yet.

 

EDIT: Just created a Xenon mediainfo folder and now I have monochrome icons in Xenon as well.

You'll need to be more specific on what you are asking for.  Queuing for music has always been in MBC (since the MB 2 days).

I have no idea what subdued is doing but one of the recent enhancements I made was to replace the old monochrome set in the core with the colored ones which I think are a little less obtrusive and fit nicer.  If you want the old monochrome ones (or any others) you can use the IBN.

Ah, okay you are talking two issues here - 1) remote queuing (which is not currently supported) and 2) video queuing (also not currently supported).

 

The biggest issue with both of these is that I'm actually not sure if WMC can accept queue requests for videos.  I know it can for music but I'm not sure the video player has any such concept.  Also, since we have the ability to use external players for certain types of content any such functionality would actually need to be built at the MB level anyway (because we'd have to feed each individual item to the proper player).

 

So, yeah, that kind of thing has not been implemented and, honestly, I can't tell you at this point if it will be.

I notice that in 203, that there's an option to delete content from the MBC interface, and the option in the config menu to disable that ability is gone... Is it being recoded, or is it gone forever? I usually have that disabled so I don't accidentally erase something.

 

EDIT: I just noticed the mention in the changelog "Ability to delete content is now governed by the server-side user option instead of one in MBC (no longer have to be an Admin to delete)".

With 203 there's now a "Manual Login" button on the front screen. But the hidden "Login" button seems to be active.

 

If I click anywhere on the background of the UI (with a mouse) I get an "Incorrect User of Password" error.

 

I don't normally use a mouse, so normally it's not an issue - but often after updating MBC it restarts behind the taskbar - so I end up resorting to a mouse to get the MBC window on top, but now I'm getting this unexpected error message.

Yeah, I was trying to make it so that it would launch if you hit 'enter' from the user field - which didn't work - and I forgot I left that behind.

When I click the WMC back button using the mouse in top left corner,when playing media (not MBC navigation)...it doesn't work.  

 

I have to use the backspace button or the WMC remote back button. Just can't use a mouse and the WMC back button.

Are you sure?

 

Click it twice.

 

My guess is the overlay was visible the first time you clicked it which means "back" will hide the overlay.  One more "back" will take you back to where you were.
