198 Implements:

• Support for new Server Access Token security model
• Basic playlist support
• Fix multiple music items playing in custom interface
• Fix some focus issues in Chocolate
• Prevent some crashes when seeking
• Fix chapter info not loading for subsequent items in multi-play
• Ability to skip ahead to next item in multi-item play (custom interface)

Chapters seem to be out of wack.  For example, I load up a movie or show, press my channel up to go to the first chapter, and it seems to skip to at least an hour into the movie. Tested it in Chocolate.

Is this something new only in this build?  Is it consistent?  Can you define any more rhyme or reason to it other than "it seems to"?

That capability is in the latest released server (5340).  You have to create the playlists on the server though.  If you don't have any playlists then none will show up in MBC.

   Thought I had created one, must have been erased when I went from dev to official.  I'll keep an eye on it during the next upgrade and see what happens.

How do I group together multiple episodes of the same show in the RAL please?

The same way you play any other container item.  You can hit the play button on your remote (or ctl-p) when the playlist is selected or you can enter the playlist, move to a particular item, bring up the context menu and select "Play All From Here".

The RAL should automatically group any series that has 2 or more new episodes.  If it isn't for you, you may have edited your config at some point to up this number.  I think the tag is something like RecentItemCollapseThreshold.

Having a problem with 200 and 199, both version seem to "crash" back to media center when going to the configuration windows.

Sometimes you get an invalid application error, and some times you get this application failed to respond error.  Running chocolate theme, server version Version 3.0.5347.22095.

It's still that method is it.

I think I upped it to 50 so they weren't grouped, but now I prefer it.

May be unrelated but I see an error being thrown by ThemeVideoBackdrops.  Try removing that plug-in to see if it has anything to do with this.

 

Otherwise, had you ever run the Xenon theme?

I have removed themevideobackdrops and same error.  I don't believe I have installed Xenon but this is my test machine for that kind of stuff so it's possible.

Okay, no clues there.  Please describe exactly what you are doing that causes the crash.
