In your settings for the User Profile.. You will go to Display and uncheck 'Enable Backdrops'.

I'm pretty sure we always show a backdrop if available in the detail screen so you would need to just eliminate the backdrops from your system.

@ebr ok, how can i remove the backdrops from my system?

You would edit the images for each media item and then click the trashcan icon.

Remove all backdrop images that are assigned to the album or artists of the album.

Albums will inherit backdrop from first Artist if Album has no backdrops.

I remove all images. In any album there is only the cover.

As mentioned above, in this example Lenny Kravitz is the first Album Artist and his backdrops will be used when Album does not have any backdrops.

@Luke yes i followed the instruction. I have removed all images but @Happy2Play says me than the cover is take from the first song of album. Is possible change this behavior?

I thought you wanted to remove the background and not the cover?

Basically not inherit Artist backdrops when Album has no backdrops.

Currently you would have to apply a generic backdrop to each album.

You need to remove the background from the artist as we already pointed out.

Would some css help in this situation, to not display or display but much fainter, assuming thats a browser view of course.

All you need to do is use the image editor to remove the backdrop image from both the album and the artist(s).
