manzajaro 1 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) Hello everyone As you can see in the image, emby is parsing repeated and grouped contents in the same folder. My proposal is: Why doesn't it take all the content that is the same the same metadata? Thus eliminating requests to imbd, themoviedb etc... which would speed up this process. I understand that for small libraries this improvement is insignificant. But when you have a lot of content and within each content many qualities, links etc... a lot of time is wasted in analyzing data that are repeated and are the same. Thanks Edited April 14, 2021 by manzajaro
Luke 42085 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Hi, we do cache movie db data to reduce requests.
manzajaro 1 Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) Hi luke, ok , the log does not show that this request is cached. as you can see when you do "Running MovieDbImageProvider" it takes a long time between a file and another one. Why ?¿ test_Trim.mp4 Edited April 14, 2021 by manzajaro
Luke 42085 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 That just means it is Running MovieDbImageProvider. That doesn't mean it is making additional http requests to moviedb.
