Effective Analysis

Hello everyone :)

As you can see in the image, emby is parsing repeated and grouped contents in the same folder.

My proposal is: Why doesn't it take all the content that is the same the same metadata?

Thus eliminating requests to imbd, themoviedb etc... which would speed up this process.

I understand that for small libraries this improvement is insignificant. But when you have a lot of content and within each content many qualities, links etc... a lot of time is wasted in analyzing data that are repeated and are the same.

Thanks

Hi, we do cache movie db data to reduce requests.

Hi luke,

ok :) , the log does not show that this request is cached.

as you can see when you do "Running MovieDbImageProvider" it takes a long time between a file and another one.

Why ?¿

That just means it is Running MovieDbImageProvider. That doesn't mean it is making additional http requests to moviedb.
