Lookaee173 1 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) I done a windows update on my pc this morning and now can't access my server remotely or via the domain even if on the local network. Everything was working fine until this update, I have checked the firewall settings and nothing is blocking emby. I have tried port forwarding just in case but that didn't change things working, before I installed the update I could happily connect to the server via the domain, local and externally from the network. I have included a screenshot of what is displayed when I try to access the server. I can access the server locally on the pc.Anyone have any idea's? I have remote connections enabled and port mapping ticked. I didn't touch any emby settings, just updated the pc to 19042.906 Edited April 14, 2021 by Lookaee173 title change

Lookaee173 1 Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 Ok scrap that, found some posts relating to wan address in Cloudflare, it appears my wan address had changed so Cloudflare couldn't access anymore. How do I get the wan address to update automatically to Cloudflare when it does change?
rbjtech 5284 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I assume you run some sort of DDNS Agent to update your WAN IP to Cloudflare - force this to update if you have that option or give it a little time and it will likely update itself. Your domain above is resolving, but not sure if these are the correct IP's... 104.**.**.128 172.**.***.212
Lookaee173 1 Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 I don’t, when I setup the cloudflare, I entered my wan address manually. Guessing there is a way to get this done automatically?
Carlo 4561 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 There are a few ways to do this all depending on the type of router you have to the OS you are running. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020524512-Manage-dynamic-IPs-in-Cloudflare-DNS-programmatically Using DNS-O-Matic is one way mentioned that a lot of people use and just works but can be a bit tedious to setup. 1
