spyko 7 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Is there a way to "lock" a whole media folder from being accessed and (unfortunately updated) by metadata fetchers? I have a "Home Videos" media-folder with handmade metadata. I'd like to activate the automatic metadata updating but I am afraid of my metadata being altered. (It happened once long time ago with MB2). I know I can disable metadata update for each video but there are many of them. BTW, Is it safe to just "lock" each item from metadata updates or have to set every single field to "Off"?
ebr 16184 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 If you make the folder type "Home Videos" we will never try to get metadata from the internet. 1

I write it on some other posts, but no answer. Is it now possible to lock metadata rekursively to a Movie Folder? Or must i go to open each of the 800 movies to set the lock? Or is there a way to process all .nfo in one step? Greetz Stealth

I just locked every movie in my Kids movie folder.
