moviefan 187 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Has anyone figured out how to install this? I see multiple people asking the same question in the blog entry announcing Roku 1.25 but no solution or explanation. 1.24 is the latest one I can figure out how to install.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) I believe you have to sideload this version. http://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/Developer+Guide#DeveloperGuide-70LoadingandRunningyourApplicationWalkthrough http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/8001-media-browser-for-roku-beta-channel/ How to Run Directly from Source Code: Mine is still on 1.24 also via the roku beta channel. I see multiple people asking the same question in the blog entry announcing Roku 1.25 but no solution or explanation. 1.24 is the latest one I can figure out how to install. Which device? If a Roku, then add the private channel. If a Now TV, then you need to sideload.
Jon 34 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Mine shows 1.24, yet I have the option to disable the clock. I don't know that 1.25 actually has the version number correct. I've removed and re-added the channel and still only show 1.24.
moviefan 187 Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Which device? If a Roku, then add the private channel. If a Now TV, then you need to sideload. I have a Roku 3. I have added via private channel but the newest one available seems to be 1.24. Does anyone have 1.25 successfully running on a Roku device?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I did a manual update on my Roku 3 last night and it updated to1.25.
CBers 7450 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I have v1.25 on my Roku 2XS. I uninstalled what I had, then clicked on the link in the first post and added it again.
moviefan 187 Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Okay thanks. That is exactly what I did a few days ago. Maybe it has been updated now or something. Not at home this week so will have to wait till the weekend to check it out.
