Omahabrownie 9 Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Okay, it will take me awhile but I will go thru and delete the bad NFO files. I will stop MCM from doing the NFO and I have installed the xml addon in emby. Thanks I will give it a try.

Omahabrownie 9 Posted April 12, 2021 Author Posted April 12, 2021 I thought I would let you know, I deleted all the NFO files from my collection. I found that I still had to go into Emby's metadata editor and delete the -2 that was in the external ID's within the Emby program. I assume this was from the NFO file and after removing the -2's it would mark as not played. Thanks for the Help. 1

Only way to clear the database is to remove the media from your library and do a library scan. Then you would ensure media contained no nfo files then re-add. Without removing/moving the media you would have to manually edit each item.
