viperdiver 0 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 First post, if anyone can help. Thanks in advance! Used to be using MB2, upgraded to Win 8.1, so now have MB3. I want it to look as similar as before, and have all the subfolders good to go. However, my top-level folder has a few issues. I attached a picture and will reference areas identified in the picture. 1 - I use the list view in Chocolate for this page. This used to show a horizontal scrolling window of the cover art of the movies. Now it is a vertical scrolling window of the titles only. How do I get back to the old way? 2 - I know this is an icon showing movie, home video, TV show, etc. I don't want it there. How do I get rid of it? Thanks again!
AdrianW 1058 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 If you want a scrolling view of folders, then you don't want List - you should choose either Coverflow or Thumb - or even Poster (and then use the +size button to make them big enough so the number of rows reduces to one).
viperdiver 0 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Thanks for the thoughts. So I tried all three views in all cases, it was similar where it showed the category icon (movies, TV, etc) but not actual album art. Also, it removed the list of all options from the left like my picture includes. I want that 'list' layout, and had it before mb3 but with album art on the right part of the screen. In my attached picture, the left side of the screen is correct, it's the right that is incorrect. And in NO view am I getting album art anymore..
ebr 16178 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Are you sure you don't want the EHS turned on?
viperdiver 0 Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 I tried it with ehs on but then all there was is a horizontal scrolling bar across the bottom, and I prefer the list on the left.
yardameus 221 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 You could try the Subdued theme. Mess around with it a bit, multiple styles, horizontal or vertical EHS. Just a thought.
