Unable to link Emby Connect Accounts

Hello,

 

I would like to start with I am very happy with Emby, thank you for all your guys work.

I have been able to add Emby Connect Accounts previously no issues.
However now when I try to add accounts I receive an error: " There was an error performing the requested operation. Your server is unable to contact our Emby Connect Server at https://connect.emby.media. Please ensure your server has an active internet connection and that the communications are being allowed by any firewall or security software you have installed. "

 

I have opened both ports 8096 & 8920 on both my router/windows firewall.
Via canyouseeme.org with port 8096, I get a success. I can see you.

Remote connections for previous accounts works fine.
I have noticed that my emby dashboard for WAN shows a different IP than my local ip for the server?

Disabling windows firewall did nothing.
I currently have it re-enabled.

I looked through the Connectivity Wiki/Github and had no luck. I also looked through old posts with similar issues. Was not able to resolve it.

Any help is greatly appreiated.

I disabled my VPN, and then was able to add the account. Not sure why my VPN was blocking outbound connections...
