EmbyLearner 3 Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Hey, Luke & Team 1) Its been a while but having problems. Emby is no longer playing recorded programs in full screen. This is happening on all of my TV screens. The Emby interface itself is full screen but when you press play the video plays with black bar spaces on each side. Also it is very difficult to get the interface it to open full screen. Constantly have to click to enlarge it to full screen when opening at startup. I think this is do to something in one of the updates. Never happened before. Also the icon to shrink and enlarge the screen that used to appear in the bottom right corner of the on screen interface is gone or intermittent. 2) Still having problems with video and audio getting out of sync when fast-forwarding as well especially with CNN. Many have blamed this on something else besides EMBY and say I just have to live with it but I have no issues with it on any other media server or HD home run. 3) Please add external player capability in the Windows Store and web interface version of theater. Please don't ever drop ISO Many of us have tons of CD's and don't want to have to rerecord that content

Luke 42089 Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Have you checked the contents of the video? Perhaps it has black bars embedded into it?
EmbyLearner 3 Posted April 4, 2021 Author Posted April 4, 2021 Yes. It is for sure that emby is playing the video in a smaller frame than the interface.
Guest Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I am assuming you checked the Aspect Ratio settings in the Gear Icon?
Luke 42089 Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Hi @EmbyLearner, please see my response here: Thanks.
