Download to a second NAS

Emby is running on a QNAP-NAS (Container).

I would like to transcode and download films/music etc. to a second NAS. I tried to add a network folder (\\192.168.x.73\Multimedia\EmbySync) to foldersync. Transcoding is ok, unfortunately downloading fails. I think I have to input username and password for the nework folder. But what is the right way to do this?

Hi, instead of adding this path as a windows unc share: \\192.168.x.73\Multimedia\EmbySync

Try instead mounting that network path to a local share using the QNAP software. Then use the local share path in Emby Server. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
