justadude 2 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 (edited) Hello, yesterday Emby for Fire TV stopped being able to connect to my server on the same network. Emby pushes the use of Connect on me and when I try to enter the address and port manually just dumps me back to the screen pushing the use of connect. There have been no changes or updates to my NAS server, Emby, Fire TV and emby still works flawlessly on my PC. I do not wish to use connect. Are we being forced to use connect for Fire TV from now on? Edited April 1, 2021 by justadude
rbjtech 5284 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 No - fireTV connects the same way it always has done. Are you sure the FireTV stick is on the same network as your emby server ? Check in the network settings on the FireTV stick.
