G4n0nD0rf 6 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Hello I use the Group Versions function to group home videos in different quality settings so they show up as a single video with multiple versions. I then change the metadata and image of the combined version. This works great in the library view, but not on the home screen. On the Latest Home videos section the original metadata and image of a different version is shown. The grouped video only shows up once in the latest section, but when marking the video as finished another version shows up in this section. Only when marking all the subversions as finished the video is removed from the latest section. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Luke 42081 Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Hi, there isn't really a wrong version as there isn't a primary version. Currently, you can't control which one gets displayed. This is something we'll look to improve in future updates, but for now, the best thing to do is apply the image change to both.
G4n0nD0rf 6 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Posted March 30, 2021 Changing the image and metadata for all versions, four in my case, does solve most of the issue. It's a lot of work, but al least this way the right image and metadata is shown. It does not solve the problem with the video still showing up in de latest section. Even though the grouped version only shows up once in the latest section, all subversions have to be marked as watched in order to make the video disappear.
Luke 42081 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 When it gets marked watched we should be able to apply that to all versions. Thanks for the feedback.
