Ollio 0 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 Taglines don't show up on the TV Screen using the Roku app but they show on the web page/app and the Android app. My Roku App is up to date, and Emby Server is also up to date with version 4.5.4.0 using NFO files. I'm not sure which server version I started with but I only updated a few times and I'm not really sure if the taglines ever worked.
speechles 2055 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 We will be getting taglines into the Roku app. You are correct. Right now they are absent. We will be improving this. 1
Ollio 0 Posted March 27, 2021 Author Posted March 27, 2021 (edited) I just noticed another thing that must also be related to the app for The Roku so I'm posting here.. The Details of Cast Members on The Roku Shows the Date of Birth and the date of death along with their age. One instance has born 1892, died 1992 with an age of 90. I don't see a way to change that. It should be ummmm 94, right? lol The Web and Android app are identical with showing Date born and Place of birth with no age listed. Either way is fine but the app for the Roku needs to be accurate with it's calculation if that stays in the new update. Edited March 27, 2021 by Ollio

So that we can read the screen where the information is incorrect to see how it was derived. Knowing that we can understand where it is causing things to fall incorrectly on your screen. Any camera will do. Quality isn't important. The information shown is. Thanks. Edited March 29, 2021 by speechles
Ollio 0 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Posted March 30, 2021 I changed the display mode in the dashboard to TV but it did not look like the actual TV display so I just took a pic with a camera..
ebr 16169 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 If you edit metadata on that person in the web app, what shows in the Premiere date and End date?
Ollio 0 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Posted March 30, 2021 There is no premiere date or end date. There is the date added and date of birth etc..
ebr 16169 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Thanks. I think this is an issue with the date math on the Roku when it crosses a century before 1970 (i.e. before 1900). We'll have to see if we can adjust that.
ebr 16169 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Yeah, it is actually the inverse of this problem. Anything before December 1901 is going to calculate incorrectly.
