ich777 11 Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Hello, due to a bigger Internet outage here where I live I have no Internet access now and I decided to watch Live TV through Emby on my mobile device but I can't. My Emby server says that i have no valid Emby Premium license and since Live TV is only available with Emby Premiere I can't also I would need it for HW transcoding but that's also not possible because it tells me that I have no Emby Premiere. What can I do now, is this the expected behaviour for a media server that I payed for? The outage happened about an hour ago and I didn't restarted Emby Server since then. Sorry I'm a little upset about this now...
ebr 16184 Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Hi. How long has it been since you watched Live TV with Emby? We cache the Premiere status for several days to survive an outage but, if it has been several days since you used any Premiere features, that cache could have already expired.
ich777 11 Posted March 24, 2021 Author Posted March 24, 2021 I watched a movie I think about 7 hours ago that had to be transcoded (should be also a premium feature), the last time I watched TV was I think yesterday.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the cache for your validation had expired. Is there a way you can attach your server temporarily just to validate however you are connecting now to post here?

Nope since I'm writing from my mobile device and connecting my server to the mobile device is a huge pain... Had to be a bit more specific. I used to watch a movie using hardware teanscoding. We apologize for the disruption but if we don't use these validations, people tend to steal things... .
