Yodikko 3 Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 There is this series called Camera Cafè (italian), and in its first season it has more than 400 episodes. I have the first 200, I upload them but he succesfully recognize only the first 100, why?
Yodikko 3 Posted March 23, 2021 Author Posted March 23, 2021 Sure I'll send a couple of screenshots. As you can see even if the names don't follow the convention (S01 E01 etc..) Emby can recognize it anyway. The problem is after episode 99, no episodes show up.

Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 My guess will be naming scheme as that naming scheme is not yet supported until server v4.6. Support EP.01 episode naming But will require season folders.

Yes it does, but I should do it manually and it's a pain. 15 minutes ago, Happy2Play said: My guess will be naming scheme as that naming scheme is not yet supported until server v4.6. Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 (edited) Testing this there is a issue as the numbers are not being parsed correctly @Luke as EP.101 is parsed as episode 1x1 and EP.199 as episode 1x99, so anything beyond 199 Emby thinks is Season 2 and so one. EP.1 thru EP.100 were unidentified. Got same/similar results in 4.5 and 4.6 But using S01Exxx naming scheme works without issue. Edited March 23, 2021 by Happy2Play

I tryed using MediaElch for renaming but it doesn't recognize the episode and season. I would like to make a simple script for this series because it's alla named the same (Camera Cafè 1° stagione (season) ep.1 - name) but I don't know how to do that. Edited March 23, 2021 by Yodikko

Guest Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 (edited) AdvancedRenamer is one I use... Wish someone would re-create CFi Shell Toys by Cool Focus.. I think I must be the only person alive with a copy of the installer to still have it... It is great for a lot of basic functions.. would be cool if still developed and extended a little for a little more support. Edited March 23, 2021 by Guest

CharleyVarrick 283 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) For my tv shows, I have been using RenameMyTVSeries for over 6 years, very user friendly and customizable too. PS: The stable version is ok but the latest beta is great. Here you go, 3 sftwr suggestions for the price of 1 Edited March 26, 2021 by CharleyVarrick
CharleyVarrick 283 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 One innocent-enough-looking detail might yields better results: Try spelling Caméra Café
Guest Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 ..Native language look ups always render better results for movies and shows.

As mentioned by Happy2play, it is highly recommended to use software that can rename multiple files in a single click of a button. I myself too use Bulk Rename Utility. A small guide for how to do it:(as a begineer it is somewhat overwhelming) Ur file are named as -> Camera Cafe 1 Stagione - Ep. 100 What u can do is add this in Replace -> Ep. Add this in With -> S01E then select all ur file that u want to rename, then click rename button. Then it is preferred to refresh ur metedata. OR (best alternative) This is highly preferred from me, (coz am lazy) Installed deluge, jackett and sonarr on my server. Then i let sonarr automatically add the shows i need. It search automatically all the torrents in Jackett's list for my show and starts downloading the show in Deluge and renames it later as per the format i set. Emby server does the rest of job. (still i didnt provide many information, as there is lot of guide online). https://www.cuttingcords.com/home/ultimate-server/getting-started https://www.htpcguides.com/ultimate-windows-home-media-server-guide/ . 1
