So I'm trying to add and be connect. I used to use it long ago. It tell username is already used. I know that. I used it.  It let me reset my password.

So then I tried creating a new user ID with the same email address but it is like nope that email address has already been used. 

  I am a premier user if that helps any. I just want this fixed. Hard to believe there is no contact support email or number that I can find.

if you are trying to create a new ID with same email ? whats wrong with the current ID?

Pretty sure you can only have one Connect/forum id per email account.  As there is no way to link via email to multiple Connect/forum usernames to local user.  If I am understanding correctly.

It says it's being used and I'm pretty sure I'm the one that created it

So if I use a different ID than what my premium license was purchased how will that effect my Emby Server? My login ID and email are tied to a login.

Premiere key is tracked to a email yes but that has nothing to do with Connect.

example my Happy2Play-test account can be attached to my local your account and I would use that username on Connect to login to my server via Connect.  Just like adding additional users to your server, they all have there own Connect/Forum account with their email address.

Hi.  Your Emby Connect account is the same one you have logged into here on this forum.

Unfortunately no. When I go to the sign in page and use the same email address and username and password for the forums you will not take them.

Did you already link the Emby Connect username with a user on your Server?

A server I used to have yes.

If I tell it connect to manually via the web browser and the IP address of the server it works, but if I tell it via the app it does not.

Not sure what you mean by this but if it's not linked to a current server then you won't be able to login to a server.

So I used to have Emby Server in a PC.  Now it's on my Synology.  When I try logging into the app with Emby Connect it just takes me back to the screen to select a server connection.  No failed username or password errors.  

 

At this point it looks like I just need to make a new email address and username.

Have you added the Emby Connect username to a local user on your Synology Emby Server?  If so remove it, save, then add it back and save.
Try again after doing that.

You don't need to do that.  Please try what cayars suggested above and let us know how it goes.
