Is my 4K video actually 4K on Chromecast with Google TV

Hi I'm looking for clarification on my playback settings.

I'm using a Chromecast with Google TV to stream my video files to my 4K TV, in the Chromecast's settings the resolution is reported as 4K/60Hz but when I play a 4K video, the display mode in the Stats on Emby (Long press OK) shows the display mode at 1080/59.94. Also when I go into the gear icon on the player its display mode is also 1080/59.94 - I don't get a 4K option.

Is my 4K video actually playing at 4K or am i restricted to 1080p?

The video is in 4K.  It is just the UI that is in 1080 and that's what the system reports.
