Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector (Android TV) low Audio Quality (DTS+Local Downmix)

Hello

on latest Emby Android TV Versions the sound is not getting direct played like it used before on Version tv.emby.embyatv_1.7.54g (DTS Direct) but instead it says in nerd stats (DTS+Local Downmix) which results in very low audio quality.

The Audio Setting is set to Auto.

Please fix this

Also if there could be improvements done to the loading of the covers because its quite laggy and 1.7.54g works just fine with loading covers.

thanks

Hi.  The last sentence confused me a bit.  Which version of the app are you running?

Also, exactly what equipment is involved?

i joined the beta android programm and the latest beta android tv version it shows DTS (Software Decode) now.

Is that the proper way now?, it seems the quality still isnt 100% clear, a little but muffled

also covers seem to be loading normal, i reverted always to this old version because the cover loading was so laggy and becaause of these sound issues

the hardware used is this which is basically a mibox in a projector

The audio settings are missing in the newest beta aswell.

So the app is running on the projector and the sound is being produced by the built in speaker?

Exactly what settings do you see?  Are there options for DTS?

there are no options for audio and as i said 1.7.54g is the latest version where DTS (direct) works, after that i tried all versions which result in lower quality and it says Local Downmix or (Software Decode) in latest beta, so changes were made on your side

Can you show me a screen shot of the playback settings in the app where the audio options should be?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I can't be sure exactly which options I'm looking at there :).  Can you please play something for just a few seconds on the device and then send a log from the app?

Go into settings and enable "Debug Options" and then, during playback, bring up the OSD, go to the "cog" menu and select "Send log...".

Then come here and tell me when you did that.

Thanks.
