Verständnisfrage zu nfo-Datei und Watched-Status

Hallo zusammen

Habe Emby Server 4.5.4.0 auf Windows 10 mit 3 Benutzern.

Die Film-Bibliothek ist so konfiguriert, dass die Metadaten in der nfo-Datei gespeichert werden.

Meine Annahme war, dass auch die Informationen Watched, PlayCount und LastPlayed in der nfo-Datei gespeichert werden.

1. Ist diese Annahme korrekt?

2. Falls ja, welcher Benutzer (von diesen 3 Benutzern) ist massgebend? Beim letzten gesehenen Film als Benutzer 1 wurde keine der genannten Infos in die nfo-Datei gespeichert. (In Emby ist der Film selbstverständlich als gesehen markiert.)

3. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Emby dazu zu bewegen, nach dem Anlegen einer Bibliothek, die nfo-Dateien nochmals einzulesen und geänderte Metadaten, insbesondere diese drei, Watched, PlayCount und LastPlayed, zu verwenden. Die Funktionen "Bibliothek scannen" und "Metadaten aktualisieren" ignorieren die erwähnten drei. In Emby bleibt der Film ungesehen, obwohl Watched, PlayCount und LastPlayed in nfo-Datei korrekt gesetzt sind.

4. Oder anders gefragt: Ich habe eine Liste mit gesehenen Filmen (mit IMDB-ID), wo ich gerne alle diese Filme in Emby als gesehen (für alle Benutzer) markieren möchte, ohne jeden einzelnen Film anklicken zu müssen. Gibt es dafür ein empfohlenes Vorgehen?

Hi.  We save that information to the NFO only for the purposes of some other program that may read it.  We do not use it ourselves since, as you discovered, it is ambiguous as to user.

If you would like to mark all items in a particular library watched, you can do this by clicking the check mark on the library tile itself (or a folder or any other container).

Thanks for the reply; is there really no more efficient way than clicking each title as seen?

We are talking about over 800 movies. Clicking would then already take "a moment".

In the web app on the home page, click the little circle in the upper left of the library tile.  Now a green bar appears above. Click "..." on the right of that and select "Mark Played".

Make very sure that's what you want to do...

This will mark all movies in the library as watched. This is not what I want.

The library contains about 1200 movies. Of these, we have already seen about 800 .

I want to set the watched flag (on the basis of a list) only for these 800. 

Any idea how this can be done in a meaningful way?

The multi-select tool can help you do it in bulk.
