Justus 8 Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 (edited) Hello, I can't access my Emby server through my domain since today. The page just loads forever and nothing happens (time out). I don't know if it's because of that, but today I opened my PC on which the server is running and replaced the CPU fan. When I did that, my PC also detected a new CPU when I booted it up. Anyway, it seems to be the Emby server, because the domain provider also says status Active, and when I remove the domain at Emby to connect via IP is exactly the same problem. I have attached the log file. Server and router as well as PC I have already restarted several times and portmapping deactivated, nothing helps... EDIT: Problem solved by changing the http Port to another Port i opened in my Router somehow?? I changed it back to the original http Port i used and its working now all again. rbjtech 5284 Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 All I can suggest is your ISP WAN IP changed (which it can do at any time) and it took a while for the DDNS records to update. ? If this happens again, then check the DNS resolution by using nslookup <yourdomain> and check that it matches your WAN IP (shown on your router). ps - forcing the port change 'may' trigger a DDNS update from your router - depending how you have setup your DDNS.
