Option Direct Play

please add feature to not use Transcoding > play direct original link from emby server on client.

so, provide two option:

1. Transcoding 
2. Direct Play

Hi there, we already direct play whenever possible. Did you explore the stats feature in the video player to learn why your video was transcoding?

yah i see this feature on iphone but not in windows desktop or even on firestick 4k.

Hi, yes it's in both windows and firestick 4k. You can also check your emby server dashboard during playback and click the info button to learn why it is transcoding. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

it work fine now on firestick after i check the checkbox directplay on setting section, thank you. i find this option on server side but it's already exist on client side :)

I do not this option on any of my devices!and I have vaapi hardware transcoding enable on my server site wondering why my clients don't have this choice?

Hi, because Emby apps will already direct play whenever possible. There is nothing you need to do to turn it on. If it transcodes, have you checked the stats feature in the video player to learn why it is transcoding?
