Recorded TV library, shows empty shows.

Is there a way to have emby hide all of the old empty recordings?    Like in my screenshot below there are only 4 series that actually have recordings, yet emby is LOADED with any series I have ever recorded even though all shows have been deleted from within them.   I know i can go into the series and delete the series folder as a whole,..  but an automatic option would be nice, either to delete empty series or recordings folders or at least auto-hide them?

While I have the floor here...  I also notice (and fight with the family) that clicking  "RECORDINGS" in the tv bar brings up individual recordings, and not the general recordings library. 

 

 

However when clicking the "RECORDINGS" library, it brings up a normal path where you can select movies, or series, and if you click series it only shows grouped recording series (which is good) .

 

 

 

The two different destinations when clicking "RECORDINGS" buttons on the home page is confusing.      Why does the TV bar recordings button, not take you to the default recordings library?

I have for one always wanted a single recording places and you just switch the view like you can in wmc.

Another thing which I find useless in the series recording is when a new episode gets recorded it doesn't put that series at front it  is at the place when the series got recorded first so I don't have much use of that library.

@denz the series list is sorted by title. have you explored the sorting options on that screen?

Yea in my very last screenshot you can see I have mine sorted by "Date Added" so newest recordings are first. Which is what I think you are saying you want.

I am doing few test recordings now so will report back.

Discovered something odd if the episode has already been recorded it records the episode but it doesn't show up on active recordings but it is recording because the tuner is used up. 

I am not doing any series recordings here just doing a lot of test recordings to see can I reproduce an issue I have been having in Android TV.

From my sample recordings it is not displaying in correct order I expect The Cook And The Chef in the series recordings to be first, Becker to be second.  Most of the time my first recordings are last in series screen so I don't find it useful. 

 

 

 

 

I agree that empty series should be hidden or at least have an option that you can do a series recording from that screen currently you have play button, shuffle etc even empty seasons but it is empty .
