Swanky_k 0 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) Long time Plex user finally trying something else out because they just can't get stuff right. So far seems promising! A question about backdrops, in the settings on the display page there is an option for "Enable backdrops" the problem is that when enabled, it will display backdrops from all the libraries including my adult content library! Is there any way to exclude certain libraries/folders from the backdrop pull? Thanks! Edited March 11, 2021 by Swanky_k

Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Sorry no that is currently a global setting.
Swanky_k 0 Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) HUmmm... Maybe add a flag to not display if the "Display in secondary home screen sections...." on the home screen setup page is unchecked? Edited March 11, 2021 by Swanky_k
Guest Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 You know I didn't even think about this.. I am currently hand curating Adult Films, and had planned to get model/actors images, logos and backdrops where available.. Now I am kind of wondering.. lol
Swanky_k 0 Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 Yea, it surprised me when I was just browsing normally...
Guest Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) I would play with creating an account without access to the libraries or certain ratings and see if it does effect it in those accounts.. May have to Ghost your main account. One for your usage and one for Public usage.. seems like this would be noticeable to parents who have kids even showing backdrop from R-rated movies.. or movies that can't watch.. rbjtech 5284 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Backdrop permissions follow user media permissions - so if the user has access to that library, then it will display the backdrops from that media also. 1
